The Story of Oil drum

The oil drum was invented by the Germans. Before the Second World War, the German Supreme Command had formulated a blitz strategy, but at the same time there would be a problem. Due to the fast attacking speed of the attacking forces, the logistical supplies could not keep up. Thousands of tanks, armored vehicles, and trucks needed a lot of gasoline in the battle. The German High Command anticipated this problem and designed a petrol container, or oil drum. In 1939, before the German army invaded Poland, it already had tens of thousands of oil barrels. The genius design of the Germans makes the military gasoline can still follow the German design more than 60 years ago. Due to the successful blitz across Europe at the beginning of World War II, the design of the oil barrel was seen as a major part and strictly confidential. In North Africa, the Jeep of the British SAS (Special Air Service) unit assembled several oil drums, the quality of which was as poor as the oil drums of the U.S. military at the time. The mission of the SAS troops was to find and destroy the aircraft parked at the German Air Force base. Their operations went deep into the German defense lines without any supplies and support. During long-distance raids, SAS troops had to rely on their oil drums to carry precious gasoline, but its reliability was not high. The Allied forces seized the German oil drums, quickly imitated them, and applied them on the battlefield.

No one wants an oil barrel spill accident to happen, because if the leaked material, such as oil, is dangerous, there will be high clean-up costs, possible long-term responsibilities, problems of worker safety, environmental protection, and other issues.

Today's industry is facing more and more dangerous and flammable products, and its safe handling and storage have become an urgent problem to be solved. Flammable liquid storage is completely designed and manufactured in accordance with "OSHA" standards, and is professionally used to store single-barrel and two-barrel international standard vertical oil drums. The unique double-layer steel plate design and explosion-proof function ensure the safety of your storage. Single-barrel or double-barrel storage cabinets are equipped with rotating rollers at the bottom to facilitate the operator to push in or remove the oil drums. The inside of the cabinet is equipped with adjustable shelves to facilitate storage of tools or other items such as oil pumps and improve space utilization.
